- ✅ Product Title - Public product name
- ✅ Product Price - Current product price
- ✅ Price Currency - Currency symbol ($, £, €, etc.)
- ✅ Product URL - Amazon product page link
- ✅ Domain - Which Amazon marketplace (amazon.com, amazon.in, etc.)
- ✅ Bookmark Count - How many times a product was bookmarked
- ✅ Image URL - Product image link (public)
- ✅ Timestamps - First and last bookmark dates
Important: All data collected is completely anonymous and cannot be traced back to any individual user. We do not store any user identifiers, cookies, or tracking tokens.
2. How We Collect Information
Information is collected only when you voluntarily bookmark a product by clicking the "☆ Bookmark" button on Amazon. The extension extracts public product information available on the Amazon product page.
- Local Storage: Your bookmarks are stored locally on your device using Chrome's storage API.
- Supabase Database: Anonymous product statistics are sent to our secure database to track popular products (no user data).
- No Tracking: We do not use cookies, web beacons, or any tracking technologies.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Display Bookmarks: To show your saved products in the extension sidebar.
- Price Tracking: To convert prices to different currencies for comparison.
- Affiliate Links: To append your Amazon Associate tags to product links (if enabled).
- Anonymous Analytics: To understand which products are most bookmarked (aggregated, no user data).
- Extension Improvement: To improve product data extraction accuracy.

5. Data Storage & Security
- Local Storage: Your bookmarks are stored locally on your device. You can clear them anytime using the "Clear All" button.
- Supabase Database: Anonymous product data is stored securely with encryption at rest.
- No Cloud Sync: Your bookmarks are not synced across devices unless you manually export them.
- Data Retention: Anonymous product data is kept indefinitely for analytics. You cannot delete it as it's not linked to you.
6. Your Rights & Choices
- Delete Bookmarks: Remove individual bookmarks or clear all from the sidebar.
- Disable Affiliate Links: Toggle affiliate links on/off in settings.
- Opt-out of Analytics: Since we collect no user data, there's nothing to opt out of.
- Uninstall Extension: Remove the extension completely from Chrome to delete all local data.
7. Affiliate Links Disclosure
Amazon Quick Book may add affiliate tags (Amazon Associate tags) to product links when enabled. This means we may earn a commission if you make a purchase through these links. This does not affect your price and helps support the development of this extension.
You can disable affiliate links at any time in the extension settings.
8. Children's Privacy
Our extension is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. Since we collect no personal data, this is not applicable.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance.
